It's also features on the Channel 4/Netflix documentary 'Cabins in the Wild' thanks to its unique slate and wood design. Inside the open-plan living space, guests will find a clever and compact design with a pull-up table that’s perfect for two and a king-size bed.

Outside, guests will find an elevated wooden deck positioned to make the most of the views. The cabin is private and serene with far-reaching views and greenery all around.

The area is described as a 'dark sky' zone, so guests can wrap up, settle into the comfortable outdoor loungers and look out for shooting stars. If you’d like a day at the beach, then the sandy bays of Aberdyfi and Ynys Las are each 19 miles away.

Alternatively, holidaygoers can explore the options over at Holiday Cottages where there's plenty of places a drivable distance from Liverpool. The Fairy Glen Apt Two Betws-y-Coed, North Wales is roughly an hour and a half away from Liverpool.

Would definitely recommend if you're looking for some peace and quiet away from it all. The only downside is to get those views, it's a steep uphill walk back from the local pub but definitely worth it. We'll surely be back."

A second review read: "Wonderful cabin set in spectacular location, scenery is beautiful and the picture window perfectly frames it so always in view. The cabin is comfortable and well equipped, the host was friendly to communicate with and we'd happily stay here again."

A third fan said: "Magnificent view and very cosy cabin. Excellent bed and very good shower. Walks really are right from the doorstep."
