The village of Cemaes is just 1 mile away, where you'll find a village shop, a cafe and a friendly local pub. The larger town of Machynlleth is seven miles away with a good range of shops and restaurants.

It's also features on the Channel 4/Netflix documentary 'Cabins in the Wild' thanks to its unique slate and wood design. Inside the open-plan living space, guests will find a clever and compact design with a pull-up table that’s perfect for two and a king-size bed.

Would definitely recommend if you're looking for some peace and quiet away from it all. The only downside is to get those views, it's a steep uphill walk back from the local pub but definitely worth it. We'll surely be back."
