Celebrity Traitors star Jerry Hall suffers devasting blow as series two filming begins
The Celebrity Traitors series two is set to begin filming with 21 famous faces ready to find out their fate decided by host Claudia Winkleman
The star-studded line-up for the second series of The Celebrity Traitors has been revealed.
American model and actress Jerry Hall is one of the huge names signed up for the BBC spin-off show which reportedly kicks off filming in Scotland this week. She will be joined in the famous castle alongside 20 other famous faces including Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, Maya Jama and Leigh-Ann Pinnock.
Miranda has been installed as the early favourite with Ladbrokes to be crowned this year's Celebrity Traitors winner at odds of 3/1. British singer James Blunt is the 6/1 second favourite, with comedians Rob Beckett and Joanne McNally rounding off the top three at 7/1 and 8/1 respectively.
Other names among the star-studded cast include actor Richard E Grant at 10/1, Love Island host Maya at 12/1 and Eastenders legend Ross Kemp at 14/1. However, Jerry has been chalked up as the 33/1 outsider.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: "Miranda Hart makes perfect Traitors material – she’s quick‑witted, likeable, and smart enough to stay under the radar. Punters think she’s well equipped to go deep in the game, which is why she leads the early betting."
Following the cast announcement, Jerry has been snapped in Inverness airport looking glamorous as ever wearing sunglasses and her long blonde hair loose.
Journalist and Presenter, Amol Rajan, was also snapped arriving in Scotland, with a casual look of blue jeans, brown boots and a padded black puffer jacket.
Bella Ramsay, best known for their appearances in Game of Thrones as young noblewoman Lyanna Mormont and as Ellie in the post-apocalyptic drama series The Last of Us, was also photographed.
Bella smiled as they were escorted through the airport by a woman in a high-vis jacket. The actor wore a toasty black jacket and a backpack, with their hair in loose curls in a laid-back look.
With a grin from ear to ear, Spice World actor Richard was also snapped arriving at the airport and was quickly escorted into a car after getting off the plane.
He wore a brown blazer and a high neck top to protect against the bracing cold air in Scotland. Richard is best known for his acting performances includuing; Withnail and I, Nuremburg and The Iron Lady.
Also joining the show is comedy stars James Acaster, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Myha’la, Professor Hannah Fry, Romesh Ranganathan, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney.
Fans have already begun speculating about that the "big dogs" of the new series look set to be Jerry and Miranda or perhaps Michael and Richard But of course, the game has not yet begun yet.
Once the filming starts this weekend, the 21 players will be separated into Traitors and Faithful following lengthy interviews with presenter Claudia Winkleman and members of the production team.
