Jeremy Clarkson 'absolutely refused' one thing after major health scare

Clarkson's Farm season 5 will be the most emotional season yet as Jeremy Clarkson's heart problem is explored.

Lisa Hogan, Jeremy Clarkson's partner, has revealed there is still one thing he "absolutely refuses" to do following his health scare.

The hugely popular Clarkson's Farm is set to return for its fifth series shortly, with the show's producers teasing it will be the most emotionally charged season to date.

Forthcoming episodes of the beloved farming programme will cast light on Clarkson's heart condition, which led to him having a stent fitted.

He was rushed to hospital by ambulance after experiencing tightness in his chest and pins and needles in his arm, where medics discovered he had blocked arteries.

Speaking ahead of the new series, his partner Lisa Hogan revealed that Jeremy took little heed of advice to rest and recuperate.

She shared: "Jeremy was advised to rest for a couple of weeks, and that lasted about a day and a half. He still absolutely refuses to eat cottage cheese."

The programme's executive producer Andy Wilman said the new series "takes a turn" as the episodes become "much heavier and more emotional than anything we've seen before".

He went on to say: "In many ways it's the most personal series yet, not because Jeremy wants to make it about himself, but simply because of circumstance.

"When the series opens, he's sidelined with a heart problem, and that shapes everything that follows."

Clarkson has since confirmed he is "absolutely fine" following the cardiac procedure, telling Heart Breakfast he has shed weight owing to "fat jabs". Host Jamie Theakston noted: "Can I just say you look very well. I know you've had a couple of health scares recently."

Clarkson responded: "Yes, it's fat jabs. I look like a Lowry painting." Adding that he is "very well", the former Top Gear host said: "It was quite a fraught year last year but no, I'm absolutely fine now. Tickety-boo."
