Mohamed Salah's huge net worth and wife's true feelings on Liverpool home

Mohamed Salah will be leaving Liverpool after playing his last game for the Merseysiders this afternoon

Mohamed Salah will say goodbye to Liverpool and Anfield this afternoon when he plays his final game for the Reds.

The Egyptian forward has cemented his status as a club legend at Anfield since arriving at the club nine years ago, playing a pivotal role in the most triumphant chapter of their recent history.

Alongside two Premier League titles, Salah has also claimed the Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup during his time on Merseyside.

He is also poised to leave as the fourth-highest goalscorer in Premier League history, having claimed the league's Golden Boot on four occasions and been named player of the season twice.

Liverpool face Brentford this afternoon with Champions League football on the line.

Salah, whose net worth is reported to be £104million by Celebrity Net Worth, is now set to seek a fresh challenge, departing on a free transfer despite having 12 months left to run on his contract. Although his next destination is yet to be revealed, he will be accompanied by his wife Magi and their two daughters Makka and Kayan.

Despite her husband's ascent to footballing superstardom, Magi has largely shied away from public life in recent years, yet has remained a steadfast presence through the various peaks and troughs of his career since the couple wed in 2013.

She has also made considerable sacrifices to support Salah's career, allowing the Liverpool star to transform their home into "a hospital" by installing gym equipment and medical apparatus to keep him in peak physical condition.

In an interview with France Football, Salah acknowledged that his wife had not been shy about expressing her views on the modifications he had made to their home, which is located in Cheshire's 'Golden Triangle'.

"Two rooms in our house are dedicated to different fitness machines, bodybuilding," he said. "At home I can also do cryotherapy, there is a hyperbaric chamber.

"I am constantly looking to improve my physical condition. It's true that I like to say that my house looks like a hospital, [but] my wife doesn't like that!

"[She] says that I spend more time with my machines than with her!"

Throughout his spell at Liverpool, Salah has had various Premier League footballers residing close by, including team-mates Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold (prior to his transfer to Real Madrid), along with Erling Haaland and Kyle Walker.

Confirming his exit from the club earlier this season, the 33-year-old wrote: "Hello everyone. Unfortunately the day has come. This is the first part of my farewell. I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.

"I wanted to start by saying that I never imagined how deeply this club, this city, these people would become part of my life. Liverpool is not just a football club. It's a passion. It's a history. It's a spirit. I can't explain it in words to anyone not part of this club.

"We celebrated victory. We won the most important trophies and we fought together through the hardest time in our life. I want to thank everyone who was part of this club throughout my time here, especially the team-mates, past and present.

"And to the fans, I don't have enough words," he added. "The support you showed me through the best time of my career and you stood by me in the toughest times. It's something I will never forget and I something I will take with me always.

"Leaving is never easy. You gave me the best time of my life, I will be always one of you. The club will always be my home, to me and to my family. Thank you for everything. Because of all of you I will never walk alone."
