Cardiff City tipped to move for League One star as contract uncertainty rumbles on
The Bluebirds are reportedly keen on the versatile defender
Cardiff City are reportedly tracking Rotherham United's versatile defender Denzel Hall.
That's according to a report from Football Insider, who claim Preston North End are also watching the 24-year-old.
Cardiff have already made their first move of the summer transfer window having signed on-loan goalkeeper Nathan Trott on a permanent deal.
Now, they've been tipped to make another move, this time for Hall, who's just been relegated to League Two with the Millers.
However, on an individual level, he's enjoyed a relatively successful first season in English football, having previously come through the ranks at Dutch giants Feyenoord.
Hall made 31 appearances for the Millers, whom he joined last summer, scoring three goals and earning two assists in that time.
He has two years left on his current deal at the New York Stadium, so Cardiff may have to shell out a solid fee if they want to land him ahead of the new season.
While he can play at the heart of defence, Hall's primary position is at right-back, and any interest from the Bluebirds may well prompt questions over Perry Ng's future.

Ng, as thing stand, is out of contract this summer, and there's not yet been any indication over whether he will sign a new deal.
Tying down the two-time player of the season will likely be seen as a key priority heading into the summer, with Ng also a proven Championship performer.
Brian Barry-Murphy, who jetted out to Malaysia to meet City owner Vincent Tan for the first time this week, has previously refused to be drawn on what might happen with the defender, as well as fellow out-of-contract stars Ryan Wintle and Joel Bagan.
"I think you've seen from the club this year how proactive we've been in securing players," he said towards the end of the season.
"That's always best because there are so many different moving parts to these situations and they are private conversations for those players and representatives.
"I know when you're a player and go into the last year of your contract and you're playing as well as they are, your team are seeing what's available everywhere and that's normal.
"So our job is to look after Cardiff and make sure we're prepared for every eventuality."
