Eldest son of Charles and Diana and heir to the throne, Prince William met Kate Middleton while studying at the St Andrews and they married in April 2011. He served as an RAF search and rescue pilot, and later worked as an air ambulance pilot.
Prince William attended Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He then took a gap year, during which he travelled to Chile, Belize, and Kenya. He then attended the University of St Andrews, where he met Kate Middleton.
Prince William is a popular figure in the United Kingdom and around the world. He is seen as a modern and approachable royal who is committed to public service.
His first son, Prince George, was born in 2013. He had a daughter, Princess Charlotte, in 2015, and a second son, Prince Louis, in 2018.
